Maybe...?

When did I last write here? (As far as you can tell, never: I took all those old posts offline because I didn't feel up to reading past me.)

But it was almost two years ago. This blog is, itself, four years old.

Do not underestimate what can happen in four years: my personal life has been turned upside down and the whole world outside has, collectively, lost its shit. It's hard not to feel overwhelmed by anxiety right now.

I don't know that I will become a blogger again. I know that I miss it sometimes. There are times when I want to write about an issue that doesn't properly fit on Twitter and is inappropriate for Facebook (to be honest, just about anything worth talking about is inappropriate for Facebook).

Tweetstorms are entertaining enough the first few times, to read and to write. The threaded tweet line is an interesting idea and there are people who use it effectively. But maybe it would be better to write an actual single post and link it to Twitter, instead? I thought I would... maybe... try it. Anyway, I am clearly among the Olds to think that there's no need for Twitter to reinvent the wheel when it comes to ideas that are more than 140 characters long.

We'll see.
